Hello people, happy new year! So how u did spent ur 1st January 2012? Saya luangkan hari pertama pada tahun baru dengan menghadiri bengkel kecantikan Mary Kay! Hehe. Best sangat, thanks to my highschool senior for sending the invitation. I learned something new today. Sekarang saya dah ada asas solekan :)
Ok, first we learned the basic skincare routine. I thing I’m doing fine with this part. From cleanser, to toner, to moisturizer, and masker once or twice a week. Skincare saya consist all of the items, the basic three items are from Clinique whereas the masker is from Bodyshop. So far I’m a satisfied customer of Clinique.
Next, we proceed with the make-up session. For me, this is the most exciting part. Kami belajar cara apply eyeshadow (3 combination colors), eyeliner, blusher, lipstick, and mascara. To a person who has zero knowledge in make-up, it was so much fun! All of the make-ups are from Mary Kay :)
After the first trial, I can say that I’m happy with the brand. The price range is more or less the same as counter product such as Clinique, so do the quality. Saya rasa Mary kay serasi dengan kulit saya :) Will definitely consider the brand if I’m about to change my skincare brand. Buat masa ni masih sayang dengan Clinique. Hehe.
Oh, there was lucky draws before we end the session, and guest what? It was my lucky day! Pulang ke rumah dengan Mary Kay sample kit botanical skincare f2 worth RM100+. We only paid RM20 for the event, belajar skincare, make-up, and enjoyed foods, make friends, have fun, and free gift. To sum up, saya adalah sangat gembira! Thanks Mary Kay and thank kak eyza.

One thing that I love about Clinique is: the free gifts. The sample is not too small that it can last about 2 weeks up to a month. These are the items that I received from Clinique during my last purchased:
1. Clinique 7 day Scrub Cream
2. Clinique Derma White Clinical Brightening Essence
3. Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer
4. Clinique All About Eyes – Soin Total Regard et Contour
5. Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer Serum
For now, I have finished the Clinique Derma White Clinical Brightening Essence (I’m not sure if it’s the one or the other derma white range), it doesn’t come in a case as above, but in two sample packets. All I can say is I love the texture. Not only this item, but all Clinique products! It’s so light that it doesn’t require a big portion to cover the whole face. A tiny amount will be enough, plus, it absorbs quickly into skin.
Next, the Clinique All about Eyes. A must try for those who are having problem with eye bag. I guess this item will be helpful :) I applied this when I was surviving a heartbroken, no one did notice that I’m a heartbroken inside by looking at my eyes, need I say more? That is how much it works on me. I received this in two sample packets, lasting about two weeks.
The third item is the Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer. I received this in a tiny case, yet still enough to last for more than a month. Nothing much to say about this sample, I applied it after applying the moisturizer and before applying the sun block.
Same goes to the Clinique 7 day Scrub Cream, nothing much to say about it as I rarely using it. Finally, it’s the Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer Serum. My favourite among all, it helps to recover the broken skin and bring it back to normal.

Hye, sorry if this blog sounds heartbroken enough these days, well, I’m a truly heartbroken. Ehem. Enough with that, I’m here with a better entry to share which is none other than, a product review! Hehe :) It’s from Clinique. A skincare product that had done a miracle I must say. Being using it for 2 months and I’m totally happy with the result. It is obviously there! Alhamdulillah, I finally found a brand that really suit my skin.
I tried the 3 steps set (skin 2) which consist of a facial soap, a toner, and a moisturizer. Seriously, I love all of these 3 items! From the texture to the smell to how it works on skin. First, the Liquid Facial Soap: so lovely that it doesn’t produce much foam that is good for combination to dry skin. The New Clarifying Lotion 2 (a toner) is my favourite among all, it gives a cooling effect when it’s being applied, something like mint that is so refreshing! Most of all, it helps to reduce pores :) Finally, The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (a moisturizer), it’s a totally one of a kind. When the other moisturizer only makes my skin become oilier, this moisturizer easily soak up into the skin and leave the skin moisture all day long. Major love!
Apart of that, I also bought a sun block just to reach the amount that is required in order to entitle for free gifts. The sun block called: the Clinique Derma White City Block Anti-Pollution SPF40. The texture is very light, easily applied, and makes the skin become fairer! Another well recommended item you should consider :)
